Roger Waters 'Couldn't Care Less' About Eddie Van Halen, Forgets Eddie Was On One Of His Songs

Sorry my fellow Pink Floyd fans but Roger Waters just came off sounding uncomfortably dumb.

During his recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Podcast, Roger said he's not a big fan of AC/DC and Eddie Van Halen.

Here's the quote:

"[I'm] not really interested in loud rock 'n' roll — which some people are and they love it, but I couldn't care less about AC/DC or Eddie Van Halen or any of that stuff. It's just, who? I don't go, 'Who?' because obviously I know the name. And I'm sure Eddie's brilliant and a great guitar player and wonderful. It just doesn't interest me."

I saw all the headlines on this but really didn't think this was a story. So he isn't a fan. He has a right to not be a fan of somebody's music. Honestly, I couldn't care less that Roger couldn't care less about Eddie. But then something hit me. Wait a minute...didn't Eddie play on one of Roger's songs?

Sure enough, Roger did, in fact, have the guitarist he "couldn't care less about" on his 1999 song "Lost Boys Calling". Now that is just too much. Roger...are you serious? You forgot about this?

Hey Eddie, "wish you were here" to get a good laugh otta this one.
